Miss Match   by Erica Lawson and A.C. Henley

Clancy Fitzgerald is about to turn thirty. According to her adopted aunt, matchmaker Minerva Goldberg, being still unattached at thirty is a sign that she is as good as dead. But it’s not from lack of trying. Eight times she had been out on one of Minerva’s blind dates without success, leaving Minerva no choice but to try something drastic. Waiting at a local diner for her latest match Clancy comes face to face with a woman.

Carmen Pratka is a savvy, smart-mouthed fashion editor who has seen it all before. At Minerva’s request she is Clancy’s latest date. While it’s obvious Clancy doesn’t want anything to do with her, Carmen thinks she has promise. She thinks it’s amusing that Clancy can’t see what the whole world can–that she’s a lesbian. Even Clancy’s parents are more willing to accept Carmen’s advances than Clancy is.

About the Authors:

As Erica Lawson her first novel, “Possessing Morgan”, won the 2010 Golden Crown Literary Award for Mystery/Thriller. Her second novel, “The Chronicles of Ratha: The Children of the Noorthi” was released in December 2010.

The late A.C. Henley’s work with Erica Lawson was just a fun project for her in the beginning, yet as they went along, they realized their short story experiment could easily become a novel to be published for the masses.

A.C. departed this world not knowing that her first book McKee would be republished in its entirety as McKee: The Unabridged Edition which was released September 2011. It is a book that pits a good cop against a not so legal private eye, of course the battle of good over evil is the most important thing in this thriller romance.

About the Author:

What is there to know about me? Not much. I was bred, born, and raised in New York and I have no desire to live anywhere else. One day, I would like to travel a few places, but for now I am content where I am.

I started out writing poetry in junior high and continued to do for ten years. I wrote short stories, usually fantasy and romance stories, for my own entertainment through out high school and college. Back then, I wrote strictly for me and those stories remain locked in the back of my closet in little notebooks, written in my almost unreadable, tiny handwriting. In between writing those stories and poetry, I managed to get a college degree in history.

After graduating college, I had a semester off before graduate school and I didn't really have anything to do with my time. So, I took a chance and wrote a fan-fic and dared to upload it to the Internet. I was surprised that other people enjoyed my work and I’ve been posting ever since. I had quite a bit of fun with fan fiction and eventually decided to try my hand in original fiction. I suppose it was sort of like coming back around to what I had been doing in high school and college, except this time the stories were for whoever wanted to read. I uploaded my first original story a few years ago and haven’t looked back since. I plan to continue writing as long as I continue getting ideas for stories and it continues to be fun.
