A LITTLE ABOUT me: I started writing and telling stories at the tender age of four. And I’ve been writing ever since! I write poetry, short stories, essays, and obviously, novels. Writing allows me to explore issues that are important to me and hopefully I learn something from the characters that take up residence in my heart and mind until I get their stories written.

I live in Durham, NC, with my partner, Lisa, and our four cats and four dogs. I work at a job I love and that pays the bills so I can keep writing. I have two children, Kaycee and Scott, and an in-law child, Robert, that bring me great joy. And I have a host of friends, both in real life and on-line. I love you all!
